ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 will start on 10 February 2023. This year the women’s world cup will be played in South Africa between 10-26 February. This is the eighth edition of the Women’s T20 world cup, South Africa will first-time host this event.
A total of 10 teams will play in 2 groups in Paarl, Cape Town, and Gqeberha. The final match of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 will be played at Newlands Stadium, Cape Town on 26th February. The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup holds a special place in the hearts of women’s cricket fans. The first match of the Women’s World Cup 2023 will be played between South Africa vs Sri Lanka on 10th February.

Women’s T20 World Cup 2023: Teams
The teams have been divided into two groups of five teams each and will play against the other teams in their group in the group stage.

South Africa’s Women’s cricket team is qualified on the basis of being a host, while seven other teams get gained the auto qualification. Bangladesh and Ireland made it through the qualifiers.
The first round sees the teams participating in round-robin contests in their respective groups, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the knockout stage. The knockout stage consists of two semi-finals and the Final at Newlands, Cape Town on February 26.
